Re: The great debate: SNES vs. GBA

Haha. I've been long overdue on replaying the series. Looks like it's SNES all the way.

The great debate: SNES vs. GBA

I grew up in the N64 era. As a kid, I rarely saw a SNES (like at a cousin's house). I didn't know about the DKC series until I had GBA. This brings us to my main question. Where do you think the series work best? Are the SNES versions truly superior to GBA, even though there's a lack of Time Attack ...

Re: Mickey's Racing Adventure

The sequel, Mickey's Speedway USA, has worse handling. It definitely takes time to get used to both games though.

Re: Games That Rareware Should Of Made

A DK64 sequel would be pretty cool. Even a revamp of the original would be nice to see, especially knowing that a developer like Retro Studios could handle the series fairly well. I mean, DKCR will never match DKC to some fans, but I think they did a pretty great job of reviving a fantastic series.

Re: Introduce yourself!

Phyreburnz: I like to do level editing. I tend to stray away from graphics editing because I'm not great at sprite art, and in most games, replacing graphics can be a pain.

Super Luigi: Thanks!

EDIT: Kind of sad to see there's no IRC channel. It'd be cool to IM chat with you lovely folks.

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hey guys. I've been a fan of the DK series for a while. I discovered this site when looking for DKC level editing tools.
I've played all of the main DK games except the DKL series.
