New Year's resolutions, anyone?

Happy New Year to you all...

I had a pretty (very) tame New Year's Eve, as I was a little worse for wear after a day of 'extreme' watersports. No regrets, it was lots of fun. I should do stuff like that more often. Maybe it could be a New Year's resolution of mine; participate in 'extreme' sports more often. Haha, I like it. Actually I have plenty of New Year's resolutions to make... such as *go for a jog at 6 o'clock every morning*, *make more music*, *get back in touch with all those friends I haven't seen in years*, *donate my less-used clothes to charity*... that sort of thing.

I'd also like to learn how to:
  • Cook (anything/everything!)
  • Juggle five objects at a time
  • Read/write/speak Spanish (Hola, Kiddy!)
  • Play guitar (or piano, drums, saxophone... or all of them :D )
  • Design database-driven websites
  • The list goes on!

Anyone else got a resolution or two to share? I've heard that you're more likely to achieve goals if you share them, so what have you got to lose?

Also, did anyone get up to anything fun for New Year's celebrations?

I don't have any resolutions, as it's just a new year.

It easily becomes an old one...

In other words: MEH.

Learn to cook, do more physical activity, finish (and rewrite in some places) the script for my movie and most importantly...

learn another language.

But I don't think I'll accomplish all of those. :P

My New Year's celebration was at Epcot. And at the final fireworks, I thought everything was going to explode, but knowing it's Disney, it wouldn't. The countdown had the biggest amount of fireworks I've ever seen, all of them exploding off extremely fast!

I didn't think of any resolutions for this year, but it'd be probably get better grades at school (A 93! Come on! =P) and...

learn Portuguese! :D

Well, there are a few things, but most importantly I want to catch up on all the games I've missed, including a good portion of the N64 era. But firstly, I need to get a 360 to accomplish this.... I was hoping that I wouldn't have to and that I would get one for christmas(no such luck), so now I'm gonna have to pony up the dough. It's funny, I've been saving my cash for a long time with the sole purpose being the purchase of a 360, and yet now that I have the money it seems difficult to spend it all at once...

 I like it. (I wouldn't mind having a larger display resolution, either!)

Joe, I've just saved up enough $ for a motorbike, but I'm having the same feelings as you... it's hard to spend such a sum of money all at once. I'd also like to get my hands on a whole bunch of games I've never played - Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Viva Pinata, especially, and now of course BK: Nuts & Bolts. I'm sure I've been missing out on some great stuff, so I'll try to track 'em down.

Lawlz, I have a 1680 by 1050 monitor already. :P And anyone who hasn't already bought Banjo must do so now.

I suppose my resolution would be to get back into drawing these comics I used to make years ago, and make a full COMIC BOOK! It would beh so awesome.

Oh, that's a tertiary entrance rank... a score (out of 100) to show how well you did in your final high school years. Better TER's get you into better courses at TAFE and University. That's a noble ambition, Mat. Best of luck!

I need a TER of 70.5 (this year, it could change for when I go but hopefully not by much) which isn't too high. I'll be able to get it easily, because of bonus points and whatnot.

I know exactly how it feels. When I moved I had about $200 saved up, and it was gone in a week and a half. :P
