Features:
-Level Viewer Demo
-ONLY WORKS WITH DKC v1.0U or a v1.0U Hack. ANYTHING ELSE WILL CRASH.
-All normal and bonus levels load regardless if their objects display correctly.
-Remember, this version is a work in progress version and may contain very weird bugs.

Working controls for this demo:
-File > Open: Opens a ROM image. Can open consecutive ROMs without a crash.
-Arrow Keys: Moves around within a level.
-Page Up/Down: Switches levels.
-File > Exit: Self explanatory, hopefully.
-Help > About: Displays the new About box for DKCRE. Contains a credits section.

Features:
-Nearly all DKC2 Levels and Bonus Levels are now available for Level Terrain mapping.
-DKC2 Tilesets can now be generated along with the DKC ones.
-CRC32 checking has been added. You can no longer open any hacks or non-v1.0 ROMs.
-The extraction now uses a new multi-dialog interface which debuts in this version.
-Cabins and the K.Rool battles cannot be rendered, because they use a different method.
-Tall levels from DKC have been fixed by forcing their level dimensions to be correct.
-Mine Cart Carnage can now be rendered with both layers in its Level Terrain (this is default).
-For some reason the hit-box display in the sprite viewer was broken. It has been fixed.
-I have added a dialog to the Sprite Viewer to notify that you need not press the SHIFT keys.
-You will be notified if the ROM fails the CRC32 check, and given relevant checksum information.
-ROMs are now loaded into vector<char> buffers instead of accessing the files directly. This results in a massive speed increase.
-The ROM opening system has been slightly revamped, with separate options in the File menu.
-Window animation has been removed, since it makes the program somewhat slower.
-Most of the code relevant to DKC resources has been converted to work with vector<char> for greater efficiency and speed.
-Now has some rather-strangely-behaving progress bars to let you know the progress of data extraction.

Features:
-The massive Extraction Options Dialog makes its debut in this version!
-The Graphics Extractor is now fixed. You can extract everything from before, except for the Archetypical Bonuses and a few raw-data options.
-Level Terrains of water levels & Slipslide Ride are currently broken because the ROM itself provides strange incorrect data for level size/dimensions.
-Modified the display routines to only update the screen when some change has occurred, rather than continuously.
-The remainder of the program now uses your XP Theme for buttons/checkboxes/etc.
-You can now extract Sprite Animations, in all of their pallets. (WARNING: This takes about 15MB to do and is very slow (2700+ sprites with some in multiple colors). Make sure you've got patience and enough space left on your disk.)

Please note that in this version the pallet database is not yet completed; a few sprites may have incorrect colors, and some will be missing their secondary pallets.

This download contains both the Engine and Resource Editor for your convince (RE release is required for DELTA v0.0.2.0).

Features for the Resource Editor:
-Header detection. All ROMs verified to be "Donkey Kong Country (U) (V1.0) [!].smc" should work regardless of whether the ROM has a 512 bytes header.
-All previously mentioned Level Terrain extraction errors have been fixed (Coral Capers and Clam City were missing rows of tiles).
-Bouncy Bonanza has been corrected; it uses a RED Caves Pallet which Gaingurgolo did not document.
-Now extracts almost every level, including bonuses in every possible pallet, and some backgrounds and foregrounds too!
-Now runs under a Windows GUI, with a much nicer message display system. You get fancy progress percentage meters, as well.

Features for DELTA:
You must extract graphics from a ROM verified to be "Donkey Kong Country (U) (V1.0) [!].smc" before this engine will function properly.
-The engine is now state-based; you can switch between the startup screen and the main game.
-Ability to set application priority. This will help a lot if you have things running in the background. It's not guaranteed to always keep the engine from hiccuping, though. The default setting is Very High, you might want to lower this.
-The game window should no longer conflict with the windows theme you are using, thus eliminating the "graphic shift" effect.
-You can scroll around Oil Drum Alley using the arrow keys, with all backgrounds and foregrounds rendered at their correct positions. Hold down CTRL to speed up the scrolling.
NOTE: The menu item "Windows Classic Mode" in the View menu does nothing, it's a relic from attempting to fix the window sizing.

Features:
This is the very first version of the DKC Resource Editor, first dubbed the DKC Resource Extractor back then. Though it was a meager command-line program, it was able to demonstrate that it is possible to extract (and edit) DKC very easily, and paved the way for the future versions of the program to be made.
