Introduction

This year, Dixie and I have been working on quite a few DKC Remixes.
We decided to line them up in some sort of an Album.
A few months ago I posted a preview on Newgrounds, but we are happy to announce we finished it (finally)!


Disclamer

Rare / Nintendo holds the rights of the original title names and tracks.
These Remixes may be used in any way you want, as long as you give credit to the original artists.
(That should be Lampje4life and Dixie)

Correct, we are. However, we started our own way before we heard about the DKC-Atlas one.
The Remixes we make for the DKC-Atlas Project will be different. We don't want one mix to be part of two Projects.

Really nice synths, sounds great. But I hate fade-outs with a passion D:
And there's only one DKC3 mix? Oh well, still a great overall assortment. I was looking for mixes that really stood out, but they pretty much all stand out in their own way, they're all great. Forest Rhythm gets really good at 1:11. I love the off-beat bass in Ice Ambiance, and the calmer part at 1:16. In Kremlin Castle I really like the bit at 1:43.

I don't like Cranky's Disco much, though :/ it sounds weirdly compressed. So does Miner's Melody..

God, this was a great album.

I love the general flow of the album, how it goes from trance, to hardcore house and electro for a bit, a lot more trance in the middle and towards the end switched back and forth. Kudos on the order, it made an impact on the sound for me.

My favorites were Music Lessons and Victory Dance, because of the upbeat-ness and I really liked Aqua Sphere because it was just so mellow. To me, Bramble Symph sounded like a ska song turned into techno, which is something I have yet to see. This album was really unique.

I like the effects of Froze Glacier the best in the beginning, and I think this album is a really good tribute to DKC.

We tried more DKC3 mixes, but most are very hard with very little notes. The DKC3 one also was the last one we finished.
About the compression of Cranky's Disco and Miners Melody, you are right.

No Disco Train? Disco Train remixes are the best.

I liked the Run! Rambi, Run! and Lockjaw's Saga remixes the best. I still haven't listened to them all.

About the compression of Cranky's Disco and Miners Melody, you are right.

Any chance of getting a better compressed version? They sound great aside from the compression, and I loved every other mix on there, so it would be nice to have!

I can't promise that.

Dixie is gone so Cranky won't be accessable for a while.
Mines is stored on my PC, but is a bit old (the .mp3 was rendered 6 months ago) and made with VST's I don't have anymore since my recent reinstall.

But never say never. Very glad to hear you like it!

Thanks for posting. I listened to all of them twice and the Lockjaws Area, Forest Rhythm and Aqua Sphere tracks were my favorites. Great work!

Thank you for sharing this! I have not listened to many video game soundtrack remixes before, but this album has made it clear that I should. I felt the first track opened up the whole thing in an epic fashion, and there was a wonderful sense of flow through the whole thing. I especially liked your remix of Stickerbrush Symphony. I found it to be far superior to the one on SSBB.

I just heard the whole thing for the first time, and can honestly say the waterfall remix is AMAZING. Really... I've had it on repeat for the... 3rd time now, I think

What programs did you use to create this album? I'm REALLY interested in doing something similar (albeit I don't have the time, but this type of music is generally simple to make).
