Hello!!! My name is Sirena AKA witapepsi everywhere else on the internet and I LOVE DIXIE KONG

Honestly, though, before I registered, I magically ended up here about half a year ago and found some really neat stuff about DKC2. Also, yesterday, I came on here again for about eight hours straight and found out some really neat stuff about the whole series!

As you probably have guessed DKC2 is my favorite game, I've playing it since I was 3 years old, and now that I just turned 20, I have grown up with the game. It's the first thing that comes to my mind when anybody asks me what my favorite is. David Wise is my eternal idol, he is what got me into playing and composing music. Just everything about this series is so interesting and beautiful and wonderful and I hope to never forget about it!!!!!

David Wise is an idol of mine, too... he's my all-time favourite musician, and it's great to see that his musical genius continues to inspire people so many years after the release of these games. I am a Donkey Kong Country fan, Dixie is my favourite Kong and Squitter is my least favourite Animal Buddy.

I like DKC Trilogy, DKCR and also Cartoon is pretty cool. Pretty much everything that has "Donkey Kong Country" on it.

I am also a HUGE fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion Anime, and i like it as much as DKC.

I would like to see more DKC fangames, too bad there isn't one

Oh, you may or may not know... Simion32 is working on a few projects that will allow anyone to make their own DKC games/hacks... so there ought to be plenty of those to play before too long.

'Ello, folks. I'm Hippie; a speedrunner of the first DKC game. New member here. Ended up on this site because of Tompa referring me to the version differences thread on this forum. I later looked at the actual site and was pretty impressed by everything that was covered in the game. I would have loved a site like this in the early '00s or something. Anyway, I'm fond of small forum communities and such, so I thought I'd stay for a while. Social media has all but killed message boards; Facebook even got rid of the forums section of their group pages, which I used pretty often as well. I miss the overall feel of communities like these, so I'd love to be a part of this one.
