Well, as promised the Second Bi-Annaul DKC-Atlas Elections are here! For you new members, I will explain the premise again. The DKC Atlas Election is an event in which we vote for the most popular character of the DKC series. This is the primary. During this primary, you must nominate the character of your choice. You can only nominate one character! Anyone can nominate a character, but at least one other person must also nominate that character in order for them to be added to the ballot. This Primary will continue for 2 weeks, after which this topic will be closed, and a new one opened for the poll. Any character that has 2 nominations or more will be added to the poll. Then the voting will continue for 2 more weeks, in which the polls will be closed and the winner will be announced.

Anytime a character has recieved enough nominations to make it on the ballad, they will be added to this post. Also, I will be giving a semi-daily update on what characters have what amount of nominations.
Rules:
1) The character must have appeared in one of the following games: Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie's Double Trouble, Donkey Kong Land, or Donkey Kong 64. If it has not appeared in one of these games, they are unelligible to be on the ballot.
2) At least 2 people must agree on a character for it to be added to the ballot.
3) I will go through the topic looking for people's nominations. DO NOT NOMINATE MORE THAN ONE CHARACTER. Choose only one, no changing your mind.
4) You must bolden your nomination, this will make it easier for me to find. Any vote not boldened will not count(but you can edit your post and fix it if you forget).

Note: These rules are slightly different than the first Election's. For instance, this Election will run twice as long as the other. As usual, these rules might also be changed sometime during the Election, in order to accomodate unpredictable site activity or other variables. If the rules are changed at anytime, I will make the change very clear so as to avoid confusion.

So, here are the standings:
Kiddy Kong and Kaboom are officially on the ballot.
The following characters need another vote to make it on:
Tiny Kong
Diddy Kong
King K. Rool
Lanky Kong

Remember, any votes not boldened will not count, and they must edit there original post and bolden them for it to count.
Also, don't forget, you can still vote for any other character that follows the guidelines, you don't just have to choose the ones posted in this post.

And yes, all incarnations of K. Rool are the same character, and thus any variation on the name will be counted as the same character.

I have a quick question.

If you nominate a character, that counts as your vote for them, right? And you don't have to vote again after making a nomination?

Nope.
After the nomination you have to vote in the poll Jomingo will create.
If you nominated, for example, Bitesize, and he doesn't end in the ballot... well you'll have to vote for anybody else. And voting for the same one you nominated is ok I suppose.
